Born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains, I've always appreciated the little things. This strongly influenced my decision to complete a degree in commercial photography, specializing in macro product photography, at Appalachian State University.

I am an avid climber, and that's where my photography journey started, capturing the emotion and energy of climbers. My appreciation for the little things and joy in capturing pure emotion has translated into my live music photography.

Growing up in Appalachia means bluegrass will always have my heart, but as I grew older, my love for live music of all genres grew with me. The atmosphere of so many people joining together as one, experiencing and enjoying the artistry and talent of musicians, is an unbeatable feeling.
